Thaddeus Tukes, a 26-year-old Chicago-based pianist, composer and vibraphonist shared the instrument's origins and the differences between jazz and blues music. He says "vibing" together can help find peace and he talked about how jazz performers are reframing their music based on crossovers with hip hop and rap artists.
